Sub vs Destroyer option

Heres a thought.

What if subs could submerge after surviving destroyers attacking fire but before any other unit could attack the sub. This would only apply in battles with destroyers of course. All other combats would follow current rules.

Suppose the destroyer could still attack the submerged sub, and the submerged sub could defend against the destroyer only.
