Hello everybody. I'm looking for a group to play A&AM with. Preferably on the weekends. I live close to Minneapolis, and I currently game at Phoenix games in Uptown.

Cool! It just so happens that I was at the Source today, and they have open A&AM Saturdays from 12pm, to 6pm. I'll be stopping by in the next couple of weeks.

Usually the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month:

March 25th
April 8th
April 22nd
May 6th
May 20th

These are the dates that are currently on the Monster Den calendar.

Wow, I live in South Minneapolis and had no idea that there was a gameshop on 41st and Cedar. I wil have to stop by soon and say hi. Will you have plenty of Set III booster packs come Friday? ;)

I live about 5 miles from the Monster Den, and I never knew it was there. Definately worth a peek next weekend.

When is the Monster Den holding tournaments this year? I could not find the information on their calender. In fact I could not find any AAM info on their calender. It's not filled out for April either, atleast not on my browser.

The AAM tourneys at the Den are posted in the Den not sure why they are not posted on the calender. Anyway these are the places and times that I know of for AAM in the Cities.

Monster Den (south MPLS 41st and Cedar )
Tournaments every other Sundays. Starting this Sunday the 9th of April ( to the best of my knowledge ) 4pm start time so show up before that.

Source ( Snelling and Laurpenter St. Paul)
Wednesday evenings after work. Non Sanctioned tournaments they are looking at getting them sanctioned.
Saturdays open gaming usually starting around 12 or so.

Unicorn ( hwy 10 and 694 one exit north of 694 and 94 East side of the Cities ) Thursday nights. Don't think there are tournaments just open games.

On April 29th, we are taking the Axis & Allies Miniatures Road Show up to Duluth for the day. Probably leaving Minneapolis around 9:00-9:30 AM and arriving in Duluth by 12:00 Noon. Tournament starts at 1:00 PM. Great events planned. Four round tournament, extra prizes, and hopefully some support from WotC! Shop closes at 9:00 PM and we are planning to hang out as long as people want to game!

I've heard that Village Games in Anoka has AAM on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 and on Sundays from 12:00 to whenever.

MONSTER DEN IS A TRIP

Check out the Monster Den this up coming Weekend Tourney, APRIL 22nd. I went last week, and had a blast for 8 hours. Had people to talk and trade with, Plus I got to play with one of the countries best A&A players, Winner of Gen Con Indy 2005 Axis & Allies Miniatures Tournament SSGT Huble.

I played SSGT Huble and got my butt KICKED, but in the end I got a free booster, plus 8 hours of PRICELESS EXPERIENCE. So if your in the twin cities area I highly recommend checking out the Monster Den on April 22nd, Tourney starts around 5 P.M. show up early and there’s a sure bet players will already be there for some small 100 pt battle as well as having an opportunity to trade.

Yes, there is AAM gaming at the Unicorn on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We are just trying to recruit enough players that we can do some tournament play.

Upcoming Monster Den Tournaments:

June 3rd - 12:00 (Noon) 150/200 pt Sealed/Draft D-Day Release Tournament:
- Tournament entry fee ($10.00).
- Players will be required to purchase one (1) Set IV (D-Day) Booster at the venue.
- Depending on the number of Players (SSG_Huble to Coordinate):
a) Each particiant will be provided one Sealed (1) Set I, and one (1) Set II, Booster. Tournament Forces may be built from the contents of the these Boosters and the purchased D-Day booster only (Reconfiguration allowed between games).
b) The Set I and Set II Boosters will be opened and units will be drafted in a randomly determined order. Tournament forces may be built from the contents of the purchased D-Day booster and drafted units only (Reconfiguration allowed between games).
- Maps TBD.

June 17th - 12:00 (Noon), 200 pt Constructed (1939-1945), Maps TBD.
