Greetings!
The Knowledge Arcana (http://wizo.wizards.com/ka/) is the WotC community online magazine. What exactly does that mean? Well, it's a free online PDF format that's for the community, containing articles and stories for and about the games we play. Right now it's published four times a year. But the most important aspect of the KA is its authorship; it is not only for the community but by the community.
AH is an important part of that community. KA is you, putting fingers to keyboard and sharing your knowledge on the metagame, game tactics, your favourite faction, how to use that faction well, scenario or campaign ideas, head to head comparisons of the "must have" figures, and whatever else you can think of! It's a magazine for you, by you, and will contain articles that you think should be seen by the community.
Any articles you wish to submit should be no more than 1000 words long, and are relevant to the game. The article will more likely be used if it's more useful to a broader the player base than a very specific group. While this doesn't necessarily mean we'll only accept 'beginners' articles, it just means ones that go into minute detail on the intricacies of dice rolling aren't likely to be used. If you have an idea that you're not sure would be a good article, let me know either through a Private Message here, or send an outline of the article to ah.patorn.editors@gmail.com, and I'll give feedback on whether it's something the KA can use. Please remember, that while it may be a great article it still isn't guaranteed to see immediate print; the magazine only has so much space and unfortunately sometimes hard decisions must be made.
If you'd like to know more about the Knowledge Arcana magazine or it's staff, feel free to visit the KA Forum! (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=429)
