Spotter Question!

Just a quick question, I have been wondering with spotters, you can't sit the forward observer in a tank with transport can you?, I am taking it you can't but have to check.

Also do people think they will be any good?

You can! It's actually a great way to keep the Defense 3/3 Red Army Forward Observer alive...just stick him on a KV-1 and he's nigh-untouchable!

All special rules function as normal if the unit is being transported. Commanders still affect adjacent soldiers aboard transports, Snipers can still shoot from Halftracks, and Spotters can still...spot...from transport vehicles.

Yes you can.

IMHO Spotters aren't worth using in smaller games (unless you really want to use the Soviet Mortar), but aren't bad in bigger ones.
