I like how you did it by booster. I think when I have more time all come back and try and find any patterns as people have mentioned.

I'm still waiting. :(

I'm on the west coast so I guess that means Monday!

Let's see, you've got 2 Stug III platoons and 1 Elite Panzer IV platoon.

You're about 2 short for a Puma Armored Car platoon. Otherwise, very interesting.

Actually, I just went to Ebay and bought 2 more stugs, to give me two 4 vehicle platoons, SEVEN more Elite Pzr IV's, because I think that will be THE hot unit from Set III, which just puts me shy of a full company, plus 3 more Pumas for 2 full platoons of those (enough for a rush in a big point game) AND an extra Wirbelwind and another Me109. Total price with shipping: $37.50. Cool :)

I got two boosters and I'm basically happy of what i got. My only problem is that I didn't get a single plane.

I'm doing some research on Gary Grigsby's WWII encyclopedia from Steel Panthers and they indicate that the armored Car platoons consisted of seven armored cars each and the stug platoons only had 3 each in them even though the sections had 2 each. they also list the panzer IV companies at a total of 14 panzers(3 platoons and 1 section). The Medium panzer platoons were also made up of combinations of III's and IV's and Panthers. But I'm not sure how accurate they are and I wonder how many of the platoons ever fought at full strength.

I finally got my set III cases from late outfiiter!

I see why everyone's complaining about the Sherman Camo paint job! The only other mini I was disappointed with was the Flak 38. Is it really supposed to be that small or did they store it with the 3" gun and they shrunk.?

My distribution was 4 planes per case and a complete set except for the jagdpanzer. I ordered 4 for a platoon online today.

I was a little disappointed with the uncommon distribution. I didn't get as many Stug's as Joisey did. Does anyone know what the uncommon distribution might be like with 3 cases?

The 20mm is quite small actually. It's no 88mm, though the scale might be a tad smaller than advertised. I've recently reworked the base of the 20mm so that the gun itself stand out more, maybe I should take pics.

Please do. I think alot of folks would like to see any picks in the modeling 101 section.

Jon, I got the BEST CASE EVER ... at least for me. Here it is: I didn't get a SINGLE Japanese rare! I never play Japan, so the rares would have gone straight to the trade bin for me. As it was I didn't get the Chi-Ro or the Zero, and only got doubles of the Jagdpanzer (again, fine by me).

Unfortunately, I only got 2 motorcycles and 2 Elite Panzers.

I like how you laid it out for us and you got pretty nice distribution. I only got one case and got everything but the comet, wirbelwind, and chi-ro. I traded off the m36 for an M3 lee cuz i needed one. I then ordered a wirbelwind, chi-ro, and m36 along with things I needed form other sets. I only got 2 Pumas, stug III's and Elite Panzers. I'm happy with what I got because i was able to trade off some extras for what I needed.
