All things being equal, what is the best SA?
or another way to put it....
If you could have one SA on all your vehicles in your army, what would it be?

I say supiror armor. Its better if the enemy cant hit you even if you have trouble hitting them.

It's a toughy, but I'll go with Strike and Fade. Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee. You can't hit what you can't see.
.......c'mon initiative roll!!!!

All Guns Blazing- Coupled withe the Stuart's fairly high movement, it's great for mincing enemy troop formations...

Crackshot. Those little Elite Panzers are earning a reputation in our games. I used three of them in my first panzerswarm. Cheap killers, they are.
Another bonus is when firing on planes, crackshot negates the -1 other tanks get.

Flamethower. Nothing like torching your enemy in a single blow.

I voted crack shot. I'd rather have my enemies dead than be better able to deal with their counterfire using a defensive SA.

It completely depends on the 'all things equal' vehicle in question. If the stats for the gun are 5/5/4 AI and 6/4/3 AT or something, then I couldnt care less about Crack Shot as it probably just drive up the price. Similarly, SS Determination or Veteran dont mean much on a 2/2 or 3/2 vehicle that is as likely to get brewed as be disrupted.
If I had to pick one for a larger vehicle though, it would definately be SS/Veteran. The ability to 1) move to hide while vulnerable through disruption and 2) completely ignore infantry outweighs almost anything else on a heavy.

On this list, I'd have to go with Transport, followed closely by Strike and Fade. Both of these are key in maneuver warfare. However, once again, the one I would have voted for isn't on the list. I love Battlefield Awareness. It's only on the SS-Panzer IV Ausf. F2 and the Comet A-34, but it's a great ability that does wonders for forcing your opponent's hand.
And what about Smokescreen? This SA is awesome! With 3-4 of these little guys, you can screen an infantry advance across open terrain or provide cover for a fast-attack vehicular assault along a flank. I'd love to see this one incorporated into more units, especially infantry.

Superior Armor. Defence is the key to victory.

My vote is for blast and Bombardment. No cover rolls and forces your opponent to disperse his forces. On the downside it is the only friendly fire in the game.
I would have said Strike and Fade a month ago, but Crack Shot looks very good.....(Have yet to actually play it for myself)...but after-action reports are saying its the new thin.....
I would say Strike and Fade or Crack Shot.

Hard to pick but Blast & Bombard is really good since cover plays a major role in keeping units alive and even before firing a shot, it forces your opponent to disperse his forces.

The best example would be "double shot". That would be a killer SA on any unit but the puny PanzerII C...
"Crack shot" is mitigated by the glass jaw of the unit possessing it, and it's speed of 3. Put it on a Stuart and we have a MAJOR power on our hands, tho...

Definitely underutilized by most players.
I wonder if we will see a new Common or uncommon T34 model that uses it since the Russians were great users of oil in the manifold kind of smoke screens. With the T34 speed (well what it should be) that would be a very useful way to increase cover or such to hide advancing infantry hordes.

ss determination for me :DVeteran Crew does all that SS-Det does, but also negates firing penalities! So ss-det can't be best SA out there... :o

plus its in the same category
The superior optics is the best SA, it's the nashorn that poses a problem; too much of a glass cannon.
