Will miss that 70's show? I may cry :( I will miss this show. I hate when all the good shows come to an end like seinfeld, Malcom in the middle is on its last season. But half ***** shows like friends seem to last forever (thank god the show is dead)
Keep the spirt alive.
I liked the show, but not the last season. I think most shows are too much written for an endless continuity and become weird for that. I already miss it... but that's what reruns are for :D

70's show was good. I really liked Red's character alot.
Fox makes some pretty dumb decisions on it's programming imo.
Lately most notably, arrested development, family guy, and firefly. Yet they promote crap shows like prison break and 50 program changes to try to keep it alive. Who wants to watch a show about a prison break that never happens? Yeah they'll kill firefly by letting it rot on a friday night but move that crap to any other night of the week to save it.

Unfortunately the networks seem to be in the business of killing good shows. If a show has a small loyal following but gets low ratings, they move it to a bad time slot to kill it off. If a show has high ratings, they move it opposite another high-ranking show on another network, then one or both lose market share, usually leading to the cancellation of one or both.
Fox is especially "good" at this game. Rather than just cancel a show, they will drive it into the ground to make it unattractive to another network or cable channel to pick up later (this does happen on occassion). Firefly and Arrested Development are good examples of this. On the plus side, however, Fox does give new shows a chance that would never be bought by the other networks.

What Fox needs to do is randomly insert 5 minutes of American Idol into all of their primetime shows. And then no longer have AI as an independent show. Everyone votes on who to kick off AI at the end of the week.

Now That 70's Show was good in its heyday, but it started decling a couple of years ago.
What I really miss is That 80's Show. They REALLY needed to keep that one.
Arrested Development rocked.
But 24 is still the best Fox show over the last five years.

As scary as it is to me to say this, I agree with TrimChris.

They should have brought that 80s show after that 70s show. next year would be the time to do it.

Didn't Fox start the Family Guy? What a missed opportunity for Fox, on Adult Smiw (Cartoon Network) I watch that show & Futurama every time its on and have seen every episode at least 5 times. It really is the only TV I watch beside news and the History Channel. Call me crazy but I am not the only one, I have friends that do the same.

Fox started family guy, killed it with a rotating night schedule then cancelled it. The DVD sales went through the roof so they brought it back.

Fox also has the bad habit of bringing reruns smack in the middle of a show's season and then continuing with the new shows after 2 or 3 episodes... all this without warning...

I remember the first wave of Fox shows when it came on the air.
21 Jumpstreet (Johnny who?)
Werewolf
Married with Children (ok, this one stuck around)

When is Malcolm/70's show over? Assuming it isn't already :( and what time are the new episodes on if the last season is still around/what day?
Anyway, Fox is killing good shows, it's really sad. They make horrible decisions, and keep utter crap on the air, dropping the good shows, and wonder why nobody likes them anymore.
Soon however, the Internet will replace television (by soon, I mean like 40-60 years, but it's coming). Internet Shows (television shows that appear on the Internet) are becoming more popular- one I like has three million world wide viewers, which isn't bad for a show made by some guy with a camera he borrowed from his school library. Now that all people are connected through teh internets, you don't need to be a bigshot proffessional to make entertainment- you just need to be entertaining and make some, then post it online. One day, our grandchildren will get a good laugh when they find out that when we were around, you would have to wait until a specific time to watch a show, and you couldn't even choose the episode yourself! The internet is revolutionizing media slowly, because on the internet, ANYONE can make a small site somewhere, and if it's pretty good, people will visit it.
Just like music, the "underground" scene has expanded GREATLY since the Internet. Now people can find out about all sorts of unsigned bands and listen to their music with a few button clicks.

Malcolm in the Middle is on Sunday night at 7:00. That 70s Show is on Thursday night at 8:00. I don't know when they will be over with for good, but I can't imagine it will be very long.
