Attention all Axis and Allies Miniatures Players:

Do you love AAM? Are you a team building expert? Would you like to win
Prizes for your expertise?

DeckTech.net is proud to announce the opening of its Axis and Allies Minis
section with a team building contest sponsored by CardAgora.com.

During the month of May, submit your best Axis teams and your best Allied
teams to DeckTech.net. At the end of the month, CardAgora staff will pick
the best Axis and the best Allied teams based upon user ratings and their
judgement. The winner of each will get $20 in CardAgora credit to buy more
AAM figures!

But that is not all: The judgement staff will then take those 2 teams HEAD
TO HEAD, and the winner will receive a $10 bonus!! That's a total of $30 to
the winner of the head to head contest!

Also, even if you are not going to submit a team, join in the fun! Everyone
else who enjoys this great game, come on down to DeckTech.net, and rate some teams. Help your favorite team/friend get his submission noticed, and let
your voice be heard.

The Rules
Contest ends may 31, 2006. Please include "- contest" at the end of your
title so that the judges and users can differentiate what teams are for
consideration in the contest. Judges and Prizes will be provided by
CardAgora staff, and store credit awarded at the end of judging. Multiple
submissions are allowed.

ok, so there is the official announcement... now to talk about it.

I guess I should give the link to the specific section
www.decktech.net and click on AAM and Sw minis
or directly
www.decktech.net/wars/

DeckTech is tons of fun... i programmed DT back when I went back to college for my programming degree. It has like 20000 members, mostly star wars ccg players. It's unique, honestly. I am sort of a different guy, let's say a little anti establishment, and I made it for fun, not to try to score a buck off gaming. So it's very non corporate, you can say what you want and have fun by bragging a little, etc.

i have played a ton of games, but AAM is so awesome, it is like all I want to play these days, so John (crash beedo) at CardAgora has been wanting to try to get a little publicity and have some fun on DeckTech. He was one of the first members, oh those many years ago.

Specifically, I think guys like Doc Cornelius, Rolgan, FaveDave, and Mlund are going to love it. It's a place for players who want to be serious about being good (or learning and becoming good), but have some fun while doing so. That's the best way I can describe it.

Come on and check it out, and see if you can win.

Oh - and i should add. DT is a supplement to these boards. In no way, am I trying to steal anything from them. DT is all about submitting teams and articles and then getting and giving real feedback. Discussion is there, but like i said before, the forums tend to revolve more around non game play talks, but stuff we all have in common.

Well, check it out, let me know what you think!

I have heard a lot of players saying how great their teams are on here... so far just a few contest submissions at DeckTech. Let's see those teams, and if you can win the money, you will have put your money where your mouth was!
