I drove up to Locust Grove in Louisville, KY, last weekend to attend a Revolutionary War living history demonstration. There were several demonstrations and drilling by the re-enactors. I also toured the manor, built by William Croghan in 1790.

soldiers lined up in the field to attack. they marched across this big field and up a hill towards the visitors. they completed several manuvers and fired a couple volleys. finally, they fixed bayonets and charged up the hill. I have a few videos, but they're not very good because i don't have a telephoto zoom.

this fellow gave a smithing demonstration. they had a hand-made bellows and charcoal fire pit. he made some nails and talked a lot about the technical aspects.

there were a few campfires going, with stews or sausagauges being cooked, but they weren't selling any food.
