The mighty Kuomintang

It's time for us(real fan of the strongest nation of this game) to share our good and more probably bad experience with our favorite army.I can honestly tell all of you that the only time i've used my favorite nation(with a couples of Sd Kfz 222 and a german light mortar) I came pretty close to succesfully defend my objective in an assault scenario.My opponent only won because of is damn Fanatic. :)

Only played the Chinese once in a 250 point game against a year restricted Japanese force on Map 2. It was an assault scenario but I managed to defend the objective (in the larger town) and be in sole possession at the end of the game despite horrific slaughter on both sides.

We played a 80-point Japan vs. Koumintang

By turn 3 the K's had Japan on the ropes. But in turn 4 a Chi-ha survived a disruption and the K's ran out of T-26's (I only have 2).

At that point it was 1 Chi-ha vs. about 4 chinese MGs and 3 rifles. The Japanese may as well have had Godzilla. We quit rather than play to 10 turns. That would have been 5 turns of stupidity as the Chinese run around the objective hiding while the monstrous unstopable Chi-ha tried to kill enough units to win on points. Ick.

The T-26 can also be played has Soviet tanks for early war games. I have played one time with the chinese, I was killed by the fanatics....

I think you have more than the Chinese did.

We considered playing again with some "American advisors". They would be M1 Garand x2 and RD Capt. At least then they'd have some AT ability around the objective with infantry.

The chinese aren't bad if you have enough tanks for anti-tank capabilities. I'm trying to trade my mg, 2 rifles and officer but not enough ppl play with them.

I have play only once with my Kuomintang and it was a great game. (My friend choose not to field fanatics)

I had 5x T-26 and one Sd Kfz 222 plus a lot of soldiers
He had 5x Ha-go one Chi-ro one Armored Car plus infantry

Until turn six we had no idea who would win.

I finally win on turn 7 but it could have been my friend.(But he made a tactical error)

If he had field fanatics I think the game would have been less interesting.

We played a 100 Point Game Kuomintang against a good mixed Japanese Force just without the restriction of 15 units, because i have just 2 T-26. Lost both of them in turn 2, but my mass of machine gun teams managed with a good dice luck to take out all the *** 2/2 def vehicles leaving his inf allone against my swarm of rifleman. Great game, great victory for the chinese people

I read in a book that the Nationalists(Kuomintang) had some other tanks besides the T-26, like german-supplied Panzers (Albiet early types, PzkpfwII) and of course the M4 Sherman. Possible?

P.S. Anybody know if they are doing a naval set of more Polish units?

I only have 4 chinese. Dang my huge army has been massacred. It can't stand against the amount of japs I have. I feel sorry for them.
