From the picture yes. But when we get the mini in the booster there not as nice but still good... some great but very few.

To give some credit, I was thinking the same thing. The Fw-190 mini really isn't that bad, and from the elongated nose, I am guessing it is indeed the Dora (D model). While in flight sims I was always partial to the 190A, I'll make due with a Dora. I wonder what kind of stats it will have--some sort of "seasoned pilot" ability?

It gets 1 more AI dice than the BF109E at short range (at least it doesn't cost any more points).
The SA is "Spitfire Target", if the Axis wins initiative the Spit can be placed 2 hexes from the FW190 and it gets 8 dice to the FW's 6. Or it can be placed 5 hexes from the FW190 and get 6 dice and the FW can't fire back. Actually this SA is retrofitted to all previous Axis aircraft. Can't have those pesky Axis actually winning air superiority.
Where is the advantage to winning initiative again?

It will look nicer next set when we get it repainted as a Hawker Typhoon.

Nice way to work in a comment  The paintjob on the FW-190 looks good cant say I want my russians getting straffed by it though.

I don't like the bare-metal finish on it, but that's really personal taste. And from the start I didn't think that's the long-nose Dora-9; IIRC the nose on a D-9 should be sticking out way more.
I think we are pretty assured of seeing a late-war D-9 version, with better AI stats and perhaps more AA SAs.

I noted on a another thread that historically the Fw190 proved superior to all Spitfire marques until the introduction of the MkIX. It's disappointing these circumstances are not mirrored by the card stats. Would have liked to see "SA 'Jagdflieger Expert' +1 on each attack dice" or something similar. Many Westfront Experten scored more that 100 kills, principally because they continued to fly sorties throughout the war until they were killed or incapacitated.
At least we can recreate 'Pips' Priller's strafing run on the DDay beachhead, providing he can avoid those pesky 1940 Spitfire MkI's!

And then it just becomes a game of initiative, if the Axis move first in a turn they have no reason to even place an aircraft as long as there is an Allied Spitfire in play since it will get a free shot off with an 11% chance to kill a Def 4 plane and a 23% chance to disrupt it if it survives.
It's a shame that the Japanese didn't have any light, high hp to weight ratio fighters that might have qualified for the Agility SA.

Well the *** fighters ( zeros ) were very manuverable yes. But they were also very slow. They could not gain height as fast as allied fighters could. fighting an air battle against a plane that is 2 kilometers/miles higher then you is horrible in WWII. You can pretty much hope for a miracle, run, or die.
This agility SA can be interpreted as a very good positioning toward the other plane. I mean this is what it does right, it can fire at distances where the other plane can not hit it. Look at this like an attack from above, nothing you can do about that except praying.
Agility in combat would be better named with another SA, something like : dogfighter. When an enemy aircraft is attacking from close range, it gets a -1 on it's attack die. this could represent much better a very nimble zero quickly evading gunfire.

I agree, it does look pretty good.
Can't wait to see the Stat card for it.

The Fw190 model looks good, the stats are (like most aircraft) unplayably weak for the points cost.
Possible fix for aircraft would be to give them 3 hits (like a vehicle) A damaged aircraft can't return to the map for the rest of the game, but still adds it's points value for victory conditions on Turn:10. A "historical justification" for that is the aircraft will be repaired overnight & back in use the following day.
The advantage of this change is that it requires only a 1 sentence change to the rules & no errata for any of the stats cards.

The FW190 does look good but, you know, I will make my final judgement when I see it the first time it comes out of a booster into my greedy hands. Pictures are great but I want to see it up close and personal.
