Does the Marder II variant that uses a captured Russian gun (which is what I believe we are getting) use the exact same gun as a SU-76 or are these two different guns? Anybody know?

In AAM land, the captured Russian gun will have the same AV numbers, less AI, extended range 10 and cost more.

If I remember right. I believe the Germans re-chambered the guns to fire their (German) 75mm ammunition. So performance will probably be different.
Hmmm.....Back to the books for this one.
I thought that version of the Marder used captured guns & captured ammo.
If so it should have the same factors as the Su-76. The difference will be defence, speed & points cost. Even the SA's will be similar.
The Anti-soldier factors should be identical, the 76mm was a duel-purpose weapon with a very effective HE round for use against infantry.

All of the information I have read states that the German rechambered the guns to accept German 75mm ammo. I would expect some changed stats then the SU-76.

My examination of the Marder II figure leads me to believe it is not the version with the captured 7.62 gun, but the Pak40/2 version. If so, it should have AV stats very similar to the Pak40 and probably 6/6/4 for AI. Chamberlain and Doyle show a picture of a Sdkfz 131 (with the Pak40/2) that is exactly like the figure illustrated. But the Sdkfz 132 (with the 7.62 gun) on the same page also looks very close, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
