BTW,

You still need to clarify for D-day:

Can a player move in units "piecemeal" into a territory until they get 8, or must they declare the pieces to move in first (and if shot down, then less than 8 will be in the territory)

Yeah, you need to declare all of the units that are to be moved into a territory at once. No piecemeals or whatevery it is called...

Greetings AA Gamers,

Just a last minute update with just under 4 weeks until Origins.

I was on the Origins web site looking up registration information when I discovered, one could register for the subsequent rounds(round 2 and round 3?) of all the AA tourneys including the AA Mega tournament. This is not the case. So, if anyone bought a ticket for, lets say, round two and three of the Mega Tournament, it is useless. One only needs the first round ticket to get into the tournament. Once in, that is all that is needed. I am not sure how this error occurred but it has been fixed. No one should be able to sign up for any subsequent rounds in any of the AA tournaments. Here is the listing and the EVENT # for each tournament and what on should be able to sign up for.

If anyone signed up for a subsequent round of a tournament and received a ticket for such, or was charged, I believe, Origins will refund that ticket price to you as long as it is taken back to their Refund desk before that round starts…

Also, if you are on the fence for Origins, don't delay. I will be a lot of fun, especially in the AA area…so come on out.

One last thing, I have a new banner this year. See below, what one will be looking for at Origins to find our area…not much change but enough to let you know...

If anyone finds any errors in the this information or has a problem with registration and the like, please let me know ASAP and I will see what I can do!

Adding to the previous thread on Origins registration. Seems as if 15 people had signed up for the second and third rounds of the Mega Tournament. If you know of anyone that has, you will need to inform them that they need to return those tickets and get a refund.

Now, if you had planned on getting in the Mega Tournament with those tickets, you can NOT.

One other very important note, per the site, there is ONLY 10 pre-registration tickets left for the MEGA tournament. So, if you do not have one yet, they are going fast. Also, very, very important to remember that YOU AND YOUR PARTNER MUST BOTH HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE TOURNAMENT. If you only bought one ticket for the two of you, one of you will most likely be sitting out!

Remember, one is signing up for the MEGA Tournament event #4206 ONLY!

Now, I was only in Albuquerque for 4 days but I thought it would be more like So.Cal., well it is in a way but completely different as well...Anyhow...

Well, some strings were pulled and I managed to get you guys some prize support for WotC/AH, in addition to the trophies/medals that will be supplied to the winners. It will be Revised/D-Day games and D-Day mini's.

Also, as I mentioned before, the new AA banner is in as well, so look for it at our AA tournment Headquarters.

For the first time ever, we're re-opening the online registration system for a last-minute round of pre-show purchases. From now through noon Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, June 26, you can add more events and ribbons to your badge. You can also purchase badges at the on-site rate.

Best of all, you'll pick up all of your purchases in the pre-registration area at the show instead of diving into the on-site registration line. What a deal!

As far as Origins goes...three days and counting! One really, really big reminder for all those going and planning on playing in the AA Mega Tournament.

THE MEGA TOURNAMENT @ Origins starts FRIDAY, 6pm. Sign-up start at 5pm. It will be a sell out if not very close, so be there a little early.

I have had some with registration tickets not realize it is Friday, and thinking the start time was the normal Saturday morning...if one shows up on Saturday, they will be too late...

If for whatever reason, you can NOT get a pre-registration ticket, don't fret. I am going to try and institute a no turn away policy...we will work something out and get everyone in...

I never figured out how to register online.

I was happy to find some decent {not great} coffee; but not actually in the convention hall. There were two shops in the hotel with quality product.

I made it home without a hitch.

I went one win and two losses in the mega tourney.

Had an even better time than last year.

No you do not. Unless Squirecam has done something drastic, all Masters participants do NOT have to preregister for the event and will pay by generics...
