OK, look at the side of the booster box and the picture is indeed an actual Spitfire miniature, so they do indeed HAVE that mini already made correctly. But in the box in the Mess-o-spit. Why go to all the trouble of actually having a correct picture on the box, and then selling the incorrect one?

Is this a potential lawsuit waiting to happen due to false advertising?
I haven't been paying attention to the thread so I have no idea if there is a promise to replace this mini.

Y'know, you're only about 12 hours too late with this info. Someone else already posted this.

The simplest explanation is the most likely -- for adverts, they used the master mini in the photos. Then they packed it up and send over to China for production. Someone screwed up and either packed the old Bf-109 sculpt for mailing, or used the old Bf-109 sculpt for production instead. This ended up being painted in RAF colours and packed into the boosters.

Likely scenario. And odds are good that's what they would find.

To sum up how understand it:
- They did a correct Mini
- They had it for preview
- Someone mixed up the molds i china, so the actual produced ones is done with the wrong figure but correct painting.

I guess the coalmines suddenly got a handful of new workers....
