We've taken the big jpg image and did a "reverse video" on the map. That makes dark spots light.
Then print the map on legal paper. You now can write in what was where ( you might have to white out a few areas, but once you make the original, making copies for continued games is easy).
Actually, a co-worker and I used to play on paper all the time, either rolling the dice ourselves at breaks or lunch, or using a dice server.
This is what we'll be doing very soon!

FOX19,
A very good idea.
I have been doing this for years with all my A&A games.
Makes saving games so much easier.
Please e-mail me your finished product as i would like to check it out when your done.

Hi All,
I'm making a sheet to record unit placement, income, cash-on-hand, NAs, Tech and territories controlled for those long games that can't be finished in one setting. Or even two for that matter!
However, I don't have access to the board and I can't remember how many sea zones there are. I think there are 62. Am I mistaken? Oddly enough, I have no trouble remembering territory names...
Thanks for the help! Once I finish it, if any one want a copy, PM me.

Hi Everyone,
I finished the record sheet(s) yesterday. It's kind of long, but comprehensive, about 9 pages actually. I prepared it in word perfect using word perfect, so I hope that isn't a problem for those who what to use it.
And, no I don't have the game here. However my friend bought a copy when he went back home in March. To be honest, besides a few scattered foreigners like myself, I think A&A is pretty much unknown here in Japan. Maybe I should drum up some interest?

I've already got log sheets available on my website if anyone is interested. Of course, I'm always open to suggestions on how to improve them.
