Both are up on the web site for download and are also in the June Combat Zone retailer kits. Maps are cut into 11x17 and 8.5x11 versions, although the map in the retailer kit is approx 35x22. Next week I will put a full sized version up for those of you with access to large format printers.
Thanks to Ian in OP for letting us put the map and scenario up early (usually we lag a month behind the kits). Be sure to support your FLGS.
FYI, I don't believe June kits have shipped yet, so actually we scooped them.

For what its worth I will be adding four extra beach/D-Day maps tomorrow night for my Juno beach set if people need them or want them as well.
Two new town and two new beach ones. Probably with two more to follow Monday for the Point-du-Hoc/Ranger fans.
I am sure one way or the other people will be invading their little hearts out this weekend
BTW folks be advised MAP COAST-3 will also be updated and fix. There was a small error on the map in regards to the road alignment.

Hmmm.. Thanks Bob. (Sure is a night for that phase.)
Still, it doesn't quite make the Higgins useful... Would have prefer a 3-water-hex lead-in.

Well, I have 6 different D-Day scenarios to pump out over the upcoming weeks, with new maps for all of them (I believe), so expect a lot more stuff. One of those maps will have all the water hexes you could want for your higgins boat.

Looks awesome, Bob. I'm really looking forward to trying this out.
It's interesting that the attacker gets to control initiative instead of having a points advantage. I also like the new "Shell Holes" terrain.

You deserve a raise! Take the rest of the week off!

Bob, I just posted a new thread about the maps and how the 11"x17" map is irregular. I guess this would've been more appropriate.

You forgot Gold
Also are they all going to be Operation Overlord/D-Day maps and scenarios, or other theatres as well? Inquiring minds want to know ;)

From the Scenariopage:
Beach invasions took place all over the world during World War I.
Shouldn't that be World War II?

I would really like to see a good marketgarden map.

Well, a solid set of D-Day maps would set a precedent for future scenario releases. It would mean a far bit of printing, but we would be getting a lot of excellent playing material for no charge from WotC.

Maybe WotC should get us all coupons for the "File, Print, Fedex Kinko's" service.
I just spent $7.71 to print out the 4 new mape, which I suspect when I pick them up will be about 80% to 90% smaller than all of the other maps.

Well you could have waited a few weeks until the Combat Zone kits hit Ebay and bid 50 bucks for it.....

Okay, read my other thread but the short of it is that the 11"x17" beachhead maps are small.
For printing, the regular maps are approximately 108.5% larger than the beachhead maps. If you can figure it out, try to scale your print job to that size before you print.

Good job on the scenario and I look forward to new maps and scenarios in the coming weeks.
For this first D-Day scenario, we have a generic Beach map so that you could play it with any army in other areas of the war.
For a standard assault game, the attacker has 120 points of units, the defender has 80 points and gets to place the objective on the map. This Beach scenario is different and offers another way to play the game. Both sides have 100 points and after both sides have deployed, the attacker chooses the objective hex, but has to place it in the defender's deployment zone. I like it.
So, yeah, new maps to print off and use and news ideas for playing the game.
