How long for a Typical Game

Hi, having only just got my hands on all 3 games of Axis & Allies, I was wondering what the typical Game session time would be. I am asking this, after having played World in Flames which went on for an enternity.

Axis and Allies the old grind can last for quiet a while. When my friends and myself get together and play Axis and Allies we are versed on the rules and normally talk about everything while playing. It takes use about 4 hours for a game. We have had marathon games that have lasted at least 10 hours though. It depends on what your victory conditions are. If the Allies are playing to get both Axis capitals and Axis want an economic victory, look for 4 hours of play.

I have played Axis and Allies in Tournements and the longest game was 3 hours. We were moving at a fast pace and we all knew the rules very well. Very serious fast pace game due to the fact many of us had predetermined plans and stratigies.

Europe and Pacific look more complex and in some reguard is but we have been able to finish a game in about 2 hour with Europe and pacific.
