I'm not entirely sure whether this was a serious question or tongue-in-cheek, so I'll answer it as if it was serious.

Hasbro owns both Milton Bradley and Avalon Hill. Technically A&A is a MB game, but that's more an accident of sequencing than anything else. If a new version of A&A was printed, it probably would carry the AH logo.

I had a similar response when I saw the AH logo on the Revised edition. I almost was not going to by it because the MB logo was not on it. Took me a while to figure out that both companies are really one in the same.

It is said, that after Hasbro ran the Iron Blitz scam, that they quickly changed names in order to sell other A&A games to the public under confidence. However, if one pays close attention, they will find enough evidence that Hasbro still owns it all.

So is what Hasbo did like when John Rockefeller made secret oil company alliances and trusts to wage war on competitors on his way to the Std Oil monopoly?

Sort of. Only today we have the internet so there are more ways to distribute products.

I find it strange that a thread which is over two and a half years old is being dug up???

Maybe it is true that TrimChris is in fact the "Lord of the Forum"

Lol. :p

It's funny that so many topics get repeated every so often w/o any research into the forum histories. And then there are classic topics to share with the newbies. So expect more of my "digs" as the whim strikes me.
