Hello,

I am posting here hoping for some assistance. I represent Spring1942.com a well known (including to Larry Harris) AA Ladder Club. We have been in operation since 1999.

There has been a confirmed dice cheat developed for the CD Rom. I do have it. We are desperate to find assistance in developing a patch to disable this dice cheat or others which could be developed using the same method. We did start a petition like thread at Infogrames however we have not received a response as of yet.

I can provide full details of the cheat or the cheat itself to those within the corporation if needed as well as a ton of information obtained regarding the cheat.

We are a ladder club and this dice cheat absolutely destroys a ladder system years in the making and definately hurts dedicated customers of Board Strategy Games - namely Devoted Rated AA Ladder Players.

At anyrate.. if a confirmation of my identity is needed, Larry Harris is well aware of who I am and who our club is.. I ask for assistance.

Please email me if anyone at Avalon Hill can either assist me or point us in the right direction.

Of course if you are just looking for the cheat.. dont bother contacting me.

This is disturbing news.

Unfortunately, although I've notified some people here to the situation, I suspect that Infogrames is the only outfit that can help.

Hello,

If there is anyone in your organization with ties to Infogrames who can put a good word in for us it would be much appreciated. It is very bad for business if a whole section of your online customer base has a very significant problem with a front line product like A&A, no matter what form it comes in. The death of three A&A clubs with over a thousand members may dampen these member's enthusiasm for any Avalon Hill product in the forseeable future.

Thank you,
