Hi hi, Just wondering if anyone knows the easiest way in which I can get new pieces for the game?
Sometimes with the length of the game and places to put pieces the ones that come with the board aren't enough.
Thanks in advance for any help smile.gif

Hello,
If you read tthe manual, it will tell you that you are only supposed to use the pieces that you have. But you can have as many chips as you like.
In effeect, you can have as many units of any type that you want, however, you are limited as to how many groups you can use.
for example, there are only three aircraft carriers in the game. You can have a maximum of THREE GROUPS of aircraft carriers (an aicraft carrier with chips inder it), but no more than three groups at one time.
post a reply if you need me to explain that better.

k - i understand that but I was talking to a friend in college the other day and he says he has the game but has lost a lot of the pieces...
Anyone know the address to write to to buy more?
Also - are the tokens that come with the game limited too - or can you get more tokens to put under your units?

 Hi there:
If you want to buy additional sets of plastic military units, manuals, and other stuff related to A&A, the address is:
Gamemaster Consumer Sales
Milton Bradley Company
443 Shaker Road
East Longmeadow, MA 01028
Each set inlcudes 299 military units and costs $10.00 usd each. (these sets does not include chips, dice, plastic game trays, paper or cardboard components or manuals, if you want to order these items you should order them apart)
The manuals are from the most updated version, each manual costs $2.00 usd
Note: You should specify the number of parts and additional manuals needed. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. They only recieve checks or money orders not credit cards. :D
Greetings

You are not limited in any way to the pieces or stack markers you get with the game. Simply make tokens for stacks or unit types.
Quote:
Plastic Chips
Use these to save space in overcrowded
territories and sea zones. White chips
represent one combat unit each and red chips,
five units each. For example, if you wanted to
place seven infantry on a space, you would
stack up one red chip, one white chip, and one
infantry unit on top. (If you don’t have
enough pieces to top off all your stacks,
simply use any identifying item, such as a
piece of paper with the unit type written on
it.) The number of stacks is not limited by
the number of plastic pieces available.
That last line proves that you CAN have up to 64 stacks of aircraft carriers on the board. (There are only 64 sea zones)

All of this depends on whether we are talking about the Avalon Hill version (Axis & Allies Revised) or the Milton Bradley version (original Axis & Allies). If we are talking about the MB (1984) version, Siestraphone and Solid Snake are correct, though it may no longer be possible to get parts at that address. However, a few on-line companies (such as Xeno Games and Imp Games) also sell parts very similar to them.
If we are talking about the AH version (Revised, 2004), Sihr_Togg is correct. Unfortunately, I know of no way to get replacement parts for the new version. They are not the same as in the original version, but you could use the original version peices if you wanted to.
There are a lot of on-line companies that sell small poker chips that may be used with either game. Your local game store may also carry them.
Hope this helps.

"I know of no way to get replacement parts for the new version"
Are you people in a time warp or what?
Goto hasbro/ replacement parts/axis and allies/ and buy the pieces you need for either revised or 2nd edition. I just got another shipment recently. the maximum order is 5 sets of each.

I bought my first batch back in 2004. At that time i was allowed to buy 10 packs. You can buy the pieces for all hasbro games. I even cleaned out the 40th risk metal armies. You should read Harris posts more carefully. It was posted in 2004 by axisndallas.
about 2 years ago it was possible to buy pacific sets ( the pieces..not the other stuff).
However they have never offered d-day pieces.

D-day pieces. I think you don't need extra D-day pieces because of the nature of the game. The only reason to buy new ones is for collecting them or if you've lost some.

I would use the extra blockhouse pieces for other games.... plus for the new game they may be of use.

I went to the Hasbro site and looked for replacement parts. All they had were some kind of Nerf things. No Axis and Allies pieces.

I checked out the order form for Axis & Allies Revised edition - it said for U.S. residents only. That's a shame; I'm in the U.K.

The Operations Manual (OM) has contact info in the back for the different regions around the globe.
See what contacting them will do for you.

I have been informed that "infantry" packs for revised are no longer for sale... so the only pieces you may now buy are all the ships, tanks, planes.. Thier are no plans to obtain any more pieces for sale for revised .. When they are out thats it.

I went to the Hasbro replacement parts site, and went to fill out the order sheet, however it says nothing about tanks, infantry, or anything. Has things like "Aircraft Markers," and "Gun Runner/Grey." What is all that!!
Why are they making it so difficult to buy more pieces?
