Looking for very good or very experienced players

Although I have not played the game in a long time, I am looking for those who are very good or very experienced players of Axis&Allies. I have not forgotten my strategies for the game and I consider it to be my all-time favorite board wargame!! smile.gif I would like to take on one person at a time. Although I am new at this forum, I am proposing a tournament of Axis&Allies if anyone agrees with it. smile.gif I would like to know how many people would be interested in having a tournament on who is the best Allies player and the best Axis player. smile.gif I do not know how to form a tournament, but I would like to join one if there are any around. smile.gif

vietreunions45, if you are looking for opponents, then its best to visit one of the big international A&A clubs. Membership is free in most of these clubs and you will find the best players fighting for points for ranking ladders or to win tourneys.
Either Email or online play is supported. They have many tools like maps and odds calculators.

Hi there Vietreunions45.

I can give you a PBEM game if you are willing to play at the rate of one or two moves a week, and with the optional rules Weapons Development Bonus and Restricted Attack. You can chose which ever side you wish. I've mostly played Pacific and Europe over the last two or three years, and I'd enjoy a good match of the old game.

I'm a little too busy to think about being involved in the organization of an A&A online tournament right now. Perhaps when the frontline extends to A&A there could eventually be DCI sanctioned PBEM tournaments run by Wizards of the Coast. That's a ways off though, as DCI sanctioned play (for board games) is barely even reached its infancy.
