My question is regarding an allied unit spotter for the M1 81mm Mortar. During the movement phase an allied unit is not within 4 hexes of an axis unit. Then during the assault phase the allied unit moves within 4 hexes of an axis unit. During the assault phase, is the allied unit allowed to move and still spot a target for the M1 81mm Mortar, activating indirect fire SA?
