1. Hit them with soapy water and they will fall straight to the ground, then either step on them or hit them with more soapy water until the die.

2. Knock down their nest using hose, baseball, broom, ect, then run.

3. If their nest is in the ground pour in gasoline and blow it up.

4. Put out a pail of beer and watch them drown. (Be careful with Fido on this one)

5. Test your airsoft/paintball skills by opening fire upon their nest.

I prefer sucking them through my modified shopvac into dry ice and selling them to my neighbor, he is an entomologist, bug guy.

I usally just flush them out with water but once in a while I'll attack them with fire or a stick if it is easy to get

I would guess a better way to have fun with this is to tell others to do these things. And then watch.

My dad shot a hornets nest with a shotgun. It was fun!

With these the sting rate appears to be very low. I have not be stung using any of my methods. The shopvac one is also very appealing to me.

um, this is a complex question, it depends on your pain tolerence, and the effect the poison has on your system

generally, about as much as a needle

A needle that continues to burn and itch for a week or more afterwards... :/

And it also depends on how many times you were stung... I was outside one time with my bro and we were clearing out deadwood and I stirred up a Yellow Jacket's Nest, Got stung about a dozen times... Multiple "hits" in the same area are pretty painful, but as Nevjr said it depends on your pain tolerance...

I usually experience swelling and numbness in the damaged area

I found out that a past made from Baking Soda and Water takes the pain away.

Boy was I glad to find that out.

Yeah, like a tetanus shot. Getting stung on your head annoying-hurts, but not any more. I've never been stung anywhere else.

My friend has been stung so many times that he doesn't even care when one stings him because as a kid he would catch them with his hand and now it doesn't hurt any more it was kinda weird I asked him to get a stick that was next to a bees nest he got it and than I asked him about twenty minutes after if he got bit and than he casuly replied nah I got stung

My friend had a Wasp's nest in his Basketball hoop. He was shooting hoops and discovered about the nest the hard, painful way.
