Just a quick question in relation to multi-player forces. If your ally transports your infantry or armor to an enemy territory under escort of that allies Battleship, is their battleship allowed to use the one shot support attack.

No, because amphibious assault is going to take place on your turn, not the turn of your ally.

If only the new game abolished transporting allied troops and planes on the transports and carriers.

Yes, transport of allied forces should be straight out of the game. While yes, a single British fighter might be able to land on an American carrier to refuel if necessary, these markers represent squadrons, divisions, and groups. A RAF squadron would not be carted around by an American carrier. What would be more interesting would be rules that allow a country to cede control of a unit to an allied nation, like the rule for Russia in A&A: Europe. This would lead to nasty end-game strategies of the British giving its transport fleet and land forces to the Americans for an all-out assault on Germany, though.
