Good luck both of you.

If you want I am willing to post the armies of you two when you send it to me.

And in case you find it annoying that I posted here, then I will delete the message.

OE, good luck going against one of the best gamers here. You gonna need it.

Dont shoot the way like I did in one of our turns, use LIVE ammo ;)

Thanks! I do feel I need the luck. I have already sent my army to him, but thank you for the offer.

I enjoyed our matchup and I wish you good luck in your next match.

I've supplied the ary I sent onto the battlefield with plenty of ammo. And not blanks, like you used half of the rounds ;)

Ok. I sent you my army. Don't worry I didn't look at yours before :). Anyway, it'll be an interesting game. Never seen an army like yours before.

PS. I hope it is a good thing you never saw an army like mine?

I don't know. We'll see I guess. I do like the fact that I have a Brummbar in there against your KV-1. I'll be able to hit a transported unit with Blast.

You actually need to place your Barbed Wire first. Obstacles go before normal units.

Ok, weekend's over. Let's get this show on the road!

Before I start shooting at your units:

1. Your SS-PG shooting at my cavalry only has 8 dice, you rolled 10.
2. Your SS-PGs moving from C6 to C7 have to make movement rolls in order to pass the Barbed Wire

tragicmishap
09-25-2006, 04:07 PM
I'll reroll it when I get home. As for the movement. They are moving from C6-D6, not C7. There's no Barbed Wire preventing that.

I also forgot to do the facing on my Brummbar. It's facing C9, the hex with the Katyusha in it.

Ah, dumb. I forgot to roll my initiative. I don't have any dice at work. I'll do it later.

So I was looking at a map of Skane and it looks like a great place. What's that huge lake right beside it?

OE_
10-19-2006, 08:50 AM
Of the South and East coast of Skåne there is the Baltic sea (is called the East sea here), on the West there is the bridge between the cities Malmö and Copenhagen, which connects the countries Sweden and Denmark. North of that sea the water is called Kattegat and Skagerrak. To the West of Denmark it's called North Sea.
These are all salt water bodies connected to each other.
I moved to Skåne about a year ago, and I must say it is a nice place.
Did you take a look with Google-Earth? You can zoom in quite a bit on the place/area I live (Lund).

You're more than welcome to come and play A&AM in our local game store. :)

When I don't have dice I usually use this site:

Yeah, that initative roll may have decided the game...

FS in H12 shoots PG in E8: 6/5/5/5/4/3/2: Two hits, cover roll: 1 – Destroyed
KV+CC in B10 shoots disr. AR in B9: 6/5/5/4/3/2/1/1/1: Two hits, cover roll: 5 – Disrupted
HSU in C9 moves to D8

oh man. At this point I'm willing to concede, but let's play it out anyway. At least I won't get KOed. After I lost the Brummbar you were in control. You played very well and I didn't get a couple rolls that I needed. Definitely a good game. You are an excellent player. We should play again sometime after the clan match.

Thank you for your compliments!

You're right, a couple of rolls my way decided this otherwise very close battle. I was afraid you would win initiative last round and get me with the Headshot-banzai combination. In my opinion that roll decided the outcome of this match.
As I expected, you are very tough to beat, and I feel lucky to escape with a win on points. I would be very interested in a rematch (after the clan match) against such a skilled player. Changes sides then? (I guess it'll be Rangers instead of SS-PGs next time around)
Of course we can play it out, it's your turn for initiative roll.

5/1 + 3 = 9

You go first.

KV+CC in B10 moves C10, D10, E10, F9, facing South West
HSU in D8 moves to D7, ignoring any and all defensive fire
SG in G7 moves to F6
FS in H12 moves to I13

HSU will only use defensive fire on WES, you are free to move all other units without provoking defensive fire from him. If you move WES, HSU will use defensive fire before WES moves out of hex

Your move

WES on HSU : miss
PG on same: miss
IS, HSF on same: miss

GV Banzai Charges KV-1: 6/6/6/5/4/4/4/2 - 2 hits.

If I can pull off one more hit like that I'll win :). Unlikely though...and undeserved.

Init: 4+2+3 = 9

Wow, what a shot! I hope you can't make another one like that...

You can move first. HSU will only make defensive fire on your PG, in the same hex with the Hand to Hand.

I don't have my map here. We'll do our Assault Phases and after that I'll put up the final map.

Now let's see how many points you can take off the board...

This is turn 10. All that's left is his assault, then the game's over. He has more points than I do. I was sort of being sarcastic anyway. I fully expect him to do his assault phase.

Yes. Good game. Congratulations to you. This is only the third time ever that I've lost an AAM game, in any variant.

Perhaps we could have another go after the clan match.
