Hey guy i was wondering what other fortiforcation are there for release that we might see in the fifth set?
How about some kind of Dug-In-Tank or Hull Down defensive Fortification?
Probably would add 1 or 2 hit points to the defense on a tank, maybe some cover?
And I'm not a big fan about this one, but what about adding the effects of weather to the game some how.....I guess some card could state that rain is in effect and it makes movement harder or visibility tougher.....or both.

September's Combat Zone had a hex tile for trenches.
Don't look for it to be an actual mini in Set 5.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Revetment (sp?) for tanks.
We've seen Pillboxes, now let's see the BUNKER!
AA Balloons: An obstacle for aircraft! SA: Aircraft cannot be placed within two hexes of an AA Balloon without receiving a face-down Disruption counter.

Maybe they might add the revetment for vehicles in a future set, but I don't really want to see any more of these items. :(
WOTC has shown that they can do a decent job with soldiers, planes, and vehicles, but I think they really did a terrible job on the obstacles compared to everything available on the open market.
I prefer to make homemade obstacles and think the ones that most people made on the mod forum are much better. Even the paper ones.

I like the AA balloons idea

That would pretty much turn planes into battlefield decorations.
If planes were tougher or cheaper, that would be an excellent idea. As they are now, anything that makes them less effective would be just plain cruel. :(

I sure do hope they just stay away from adding rules for "fortifornications"... :D

I can see the revetment now. A black slab base with three sub-par concrete walls and an open back. Base the size of a 17-pounder, but still not big enough for the largest armor. *L* Oh, the walls would be tan (sandbag) instead of white (for concrete).
The AA Balloons came to mind after watching a documentary on D-Day. The Allies used them over the beaches after the troops pushed in to protect the supply docks, apparently.
As for castrating the planes, I don't have to lift a finger to do that. When a rifleman can take out a P-51, I've lost all compassion for airpower in the game. So what yet another thing comes up to make them weaker. It'd be a cool obby (obstacle).

I can see it now...
Sergeant: "You men there, build some fortifornications."
Private: "But why Sarg, there are no women here?"

Back on topic: I would like to see REAL bunkers......( along the line sof HHR with a defense of their own etc., not a mere enhanced cover roll, multiple units could be inside etc.....)

IMO obstacles are the biggest bull-poo that come out of AAM boxes and I really don’t want to se more of them. Make real soldiers, don’t waist recourses and time for something so terrify poor. If ya need any fortifications/obstacles just house rules them, its not that hard. If ya still think it’s to much work check house rules part of this forum.

I still think we should make our own and let wotc produce what most folks want to see: Vehicles, Planes, guns and soldiers.
