In order to use the suez canal a country must own both Anglo-Egypt and Trans-Jordan at the begining of its turn.

the Questions:

1. the Suez is run by the country of Egypt. Suez does not border 2 countries, as Egypt owns both sides of the Suez and especially deep into the Sinai Region east of the canal. In order to move through The suez, you should own Egypt. Why trans-jordan..? because that's the way it looks on the map and panama is done that way? If so that is a LAME-O reason.

2. why must a country own both sides of the suez territories at the begining of its turn in order to move through it? What's wrong with taking the territory on combat, and then moving through on non-combat? I assume its due to game play so that Uk can't bust through with navy into mediterranean...?

AS A SIDE NOTE:

Denmark on the northern border of Germany completely denies access to the Baltic Sea except by travel WITHIN that country. Any navy should be denied access through (either direction) if they do not own Denmark. [yes i know Denmark is part of the germany territory, i feel it would be cooler if it was there offering a type of safe harbor to the kriegsmarine]

My map alterations address both these issues.
The Suez canal is completley within the Egypt territory.
Denmark is treated as an island territory occupying the western Baltic. It does though have a land border with both Germany and Prussia.
In any case the western Europe/Germany border should be moved west. This looks better and denies units in western Europe unrealistic access to the Baltic.
I've also restored Istanbul to Turkey: treat Turkey as one territory with the Bosporos as a canal between the eastern Med and the Black Sea.
