Ferocity - able to attack

The new SA "Ferocity" on the Chi-Nu states:

"During your assault phase, this unit must attack if able."

If all enemy units in LOS already have facedown destroyed markers, is this unit able to attack?

Are you able to fire upon, attack, a unit with a face down destroyed counter?

Yes. You can still attack even if you can't cause any meaningful hits.
