just a little build that i just came up with,
its nothing great, but its not the worse either
100 points 5 units:
30 Panzer IV Ausf. G
30 Panzer IV Ausf. G
22 Sturmpanzer Brummbar
18 Elite Panzer Ausf. D
also keep in mind that aircraft are no problem, i'm the only one who
uses aircraft, in my little group

Ah, its good to see a tank build considering everyone is so gung-ho over all-infantry. I prefer the 32 pnt ss-panzers but for point efficiancy if you have to use those cool. I just can't bring myself to use them though with the ss. It pains me to see a piece made obselete...of course they are 2 pts less....of course the ss also have ss determination and battlefield awareness...for only 2 more pnts.

Interesting. Definitely an open country build.
4 shermans w/ cover to maneuver around would make trouble for this build, I think.
In open country you'd have range/AT advantages w/ the PZIV Gs and the Brummbar could take it's time w/ any infantry. The lil crackshot tank is a threat to both tanks and infantry (planes too).
Let us know how this one does.

well personally i'm more of a tank and aircraft person
but as you know, most aircraft are relatively weak, especially the
axis aircraft, since i only play axis
and once Reserves set comes out, the Pz 38t is going to be a mainstay
in my builds :D
the Panzer IV G, is my favorite tank, so i always try my best to not have
it destroyed, hehe

On a roll tonight, eh? ;)
Shermans are what they are, and as the most versioned tank in this game, they're the first obvious, and yeah, most used Allied tank build.
And they're the most old fashioned, going in the theme of this thread's title.
But ok, (takes the bait)...
6 Defiant paratroopers x 8 = 48 pts.
4 Tetrarchs x 12 = 48 pts
4 pts extra to spend.
This could be a threat too. This is actually a 100 pt version of my personal favorite. It lacks the Typhoon and a few more Defiants.
