another little build that i came up with
this build should prove to be a threat to almost anything out there
well i think it should hehe :D :rolleyes:

100 points 14 units:
* 1 x MG-42
* 2 x Mauser Kar 98k
* 4 x Wehrmacht Veteran Infantrymen
* 1 x Panzer IV Ausf. G
* 1 x SS-Haupsturnfuhrer
* 1 x SS-Storm Trooper
* 1 x BMW R75
* 3 x SS-Panzer Grenadier

strategy: I plan on seperating my army into 3 groups

Group 1: 4x WVI, 2x Mauser, BMW(more like reserve)
Group 2: Panzer IV Ausf. G
Group 3: 3x SSPG, SS-ST, SS-HF, MG42

ideally the tank will be in the middle, in order to protect it some being
outflank by more mobile allied tanks(e.g. M4A1 Sherman) with the infantry
the BMW, will be kept in reserve(behind the front line) in case of any of the
groups start to crumble for whatever reason

so what you think?

again i don't have to worry about planes
i have come up with a house rule for them(i think its my own but not sure)
everytime we want to use aircraft, and we are playing a game, then
instead of including the aircraft in the normal point limit i will give planes
there own seperate point limit, i doubt that made sense lol so i'm going to
provide an example

for every 50 points, there will be 15 extra points for aircraft only
points for the normal build, cannot be used for aircraft, you can only get
aircraft by using the extra points for them, and that will only be used if
both players agree to using aircraft

once set V comes out i'm planning on
taking out my favorite unit, the Panzer IV Ausf. G
for a Panzer 38(t) and a JagdPanzer 38(t) Hetzer

i will probably also change the MG42 for the Sandbagged MG
and place it in a position in which it can cover my soldiers

So it will look something like this :cool:

100 points 15 units:
* 1 x Sandbagged MG
* 2 x Mauser Kar 98k
* 4 x Wehrmacht Veteran Infantrymen
* 1 x JagdPanzer 38(t) Hetzer
* 1 x SS-Haupsturnfuhrer
* 1 x SS-Storm Trooper
* 1 x BMW R75
* 3 x SS-Panzer Grenadier
* 1 x Panzer 38(t)

Well, if you are asking me for my opinion on its effectiveness, I have one thing to say: Replace the W. Vets with the SS-PGs. If you are trying to win, there is no reason to field W. Vets instead of SS-PGs. Fix that and then I'll tell you my opinion.

You're also lacking AT firepower. If the PzIV is knocked out, you don't have anything to fall back upon except closeassualts.

And of course, no reason not to play SSPG unless you don't actually have more units.

Actually i would keep one W.Vet just in case the fight might go extensive into close combat. One might want a cheap soldier with unlimited Defensive fire attacks.
Also i would consider in your builds dropping 1 W. Vet+1 mauser for the german hero. Dont go for the sandbagged mg unless you know what maps you play.

I think a russian army containing 2 KV 1 , snipers/Mortars & soldiers could bleed your army quickly.

I agree about the Grizzled Vet, but it doesn't matter how many DFs you get when your guy is disrupted or dead.
