Okay,
I have an ammo dump in play.
I also have a chinese machine gun team and I roll 3 "ones" on my attack. I then can reroll the 3 "ones". I now get less than 3 "ones", do I still "overheat" or does the Overheat check the final "rolls" and not the interim.
This question needs an answer for the
FLAMETHROWER
BRIXIA MORTAR team
Soviet Guards t-34/85 Tank as well.

Only the final dice results count toward SAs. If you Rapid Fire with a Brixia Mortar, get five 1s, reroll, and get no 1s, the mortar is not disrupted. If one of your rerolls is another 1, then the mortar is disrupted.
The same goes for the Kuomintang MG. Only the rerolled results are considered for Overheat.
I don't see how this affects flamethrowers ... :confused:

If I rolled 6,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,1,1 and I reroll the four 1's and obtain another "6" then the flamethrower effect kicks in.
That is what I meant by the it impacting flamethrowers.

Ah, that makes sense. Yes, in the example you cite, the Flamethrower effect would apply.
