I'd love for AH to punch out some new boards for RoboRally. I've only been trying to acquire a copy of this game for about 3 years (without draining my wallet on eBay). I was jazzed to see the game finally get reprinted.
But I'm not expecting to see any expansions for the game coming out too soon. It seems that Hasbro's approach to games is either it sells 100,000 copies, or it doesn't get support.
I had hoped for any of the expansions for Cosmic Encounter. But that never happened, so my AH copy is a large, bulky box with very little content (thank goodness I have a Mayfair version to go crazy with).
It seems that RoboRally will be sharing a similar fate.

I've been hoping for the same for both RoboRally and Cosmic Encounter... but so far it has been tough luck. It's one of the reasons I bought Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition instead of Cosmic Encounter (as my SciFi board game). I refuse to spend 100+ bucks on eBay-ish sites for any expansion of RoboRally or Cosmic Encounter. I still think the community around RoboRally for instance is still reasonable in size looking at the activity on BGG. But I'm looking forward to the 1st expansion Shattered Empire for TI3 :-D
I guess I still have to keep hoping!

I would also love to see a reprint of the armed and dangerous expansion. I really liked the missiles and mines in the first version of roborally. I also miss the water and oil in the new version.

I loved Robo Rally when I played it years ago.
I spent a lot of time trying to find the game after it went out of print so I was delighted when it was finally reprinted.
But it needs the expansions.
Sure we can find fan made boards online and download them but I would like to support this game and buy the pretty new boards.
Come on AH/WotC/Hasbro!
You have a game which has a following.
Give us what we want. What we demand.

I too would be first in line in my home-town to purchase any available expansion to this game...
I know that it is a little over the top... bur have any of you experimented with making your own boards? I have just started making a 3d board like this one: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/111460

...you know, I could have sworn there was one (because I thought I played it?) but maybe I'm wrong. It WAS several months ago that I played the game. Maybe it's just the more advanced rules and maps that I'm thinking of.

Well I´m so happy that I still own all RoboRally Expansions. So I have enough boards to play with.
But this fact didn´t hold me off to buy the new version. And I´m also hoping that AH brings a expansion for RoboRally, Armed and Dangerous or something more evil . . . a Radioactive Box with Mutation Cards ;-) for example.
