M1 81 mm mortar

Hi !
Quick question, will there be any errate regarding the M1 mm mortars,
improved indirect fire, I know there has been some threaths discussion it.

I would love to see some official "errata" instead of using some house rule which might change from who i play.
(its just so big a downer units specialiced and traind in spotting are high cost are outmatched by random us units)

My ideas where, some are ideas from the mentioned theads.

1. Disrupted units cant spot.

2. Limit the indirect fire to US-units not moving in assult phase can spot.

3. Remove it since the US will have a good spotter unit in the Ranger once set V comes.

4. Indirect fire spotted by non-spotter unit gets additional -1 on the die rolls.

Another question, since Improved indirect fire can be categorized as a special ability. Do it still use the other stats like inacurate, extended range and scrapel ?
Since to my knowledge inacurate for the BM-13 Katyusha Rocket Launcher. It is not applied for its special ability with Rocket attack.

Regarding the first series of questions -- this isn't the forum for discussing potential rules variations or changes. We're here just to answer questions about the rules as they currently exist. I haven't come across any official leanings toward changing Improved Indirect Fire.

Regarding the second question -- that situation was altered back in May. Click to the Q&A forum, Important Clarifications, Definition of Attack. If that doesn't clear it up for you, get back to me with further questions.
