We were playing the afore-mentioned scenario yesterday and a few things weren't quite clear to us:
1.) In the victory conditions it says that the Allies ( = Russians) score an automatic win UPON controlling 3 ( or more) city hexes. Does this mean that, as opposed to the " regular" check for victory AT THE END OF A TURN, the Russians can even score an automatic and immediate win in the movement phase AS SOON AS they occupy 3 or more city hexes and without the Germans getting a chance to make one or more of the city hexes " contested" again in the/ their assault phase?
2.) Are the city hexes controlled when you are the only person having units in them ( as was the case in at least one other scenario we were playing once....) or are they controlled as per the " official standard" rules: being ADJACENT to the city hexes is already enough as long as there are no enemy units adjacent.
3.) It reads that when the IS 2's enter play, they move at speed two during their initial movement phase ( as opposed to their normal speed of 3). But what about the road bonus? Do they still get it, or no matter what, they can only move a maximum of two hexes during their initial movement phase?
Thanks!
