View Full Version : WotC: How About Some Jungle-Type Maps?

If anyone "connected" should happen across this thread, my question is this. We have maps that represent "standard" terrain, hedgerow terrain and beach/invasion-type terrain. Desert-type terrain is easily enough represented by open-type terrain such as Tiger Heaven. In the first "official" scenarios of the Guadalcanal series, consolidation of A/B Company I think it was, the map set up instructions were that all clear hexes were to be considered as "jungle"(read: forrest), which is perfect for the close quarter Japanese forces.

So the question is this: Why no "official" maps for jungles to go along with the rest in the maps section on here?

That and there are no "official" maps for urban combat either (i.e.-Stalingrad type), which amounts to essentially the same thing as a jungle map would, that being close and personal fights with the action being close quarters...

What's up with that? :)

I guess that's why we have GraphCorp. Home grown 3D maps is where it's at. Like the old saying, "if you want something done right, do it yourself". I'm glad that we've done that, Kaufy. Like Russian winter maps. ;)

I'm all ready to take that baby for a test spin too! And I've got the time! :D

Ah, reminds me of a little jingle...

"If you've got the time, we've got the beer (beer after beer)..." :D
