Which reserves units (the ones we have previewed so far) are the most useful for competitive play?
Personally, I think the Chi-Nu gives Japanese-only armies a fighting chance. I also like the Fallschirmjagers and the Rangers, since both have 5/5 defense.

I predict some very competitive greyhound/ranger builds coming round the bend. I am itching to to go shopping for singles so I can field an army of these nasty buggers.
Here's an example:
Greyhound x 3 = 48
Rangers x 9 = 45
Red Devil Captain x 1 = 7
Ah bugger, my math is off. Stupid beer.

Fallschirmjagers because Germany needed them. The objective could get a little crowded now on first turn.
Rangers because the Amis now have an economical counter to the SSPG.
Wait to see the Elefant and two heros.......

For sure: Fallschirmjagers and Rangers! Top 2 game changers :)
I also think that the new German Panther will see some use; I have a few idea floating around involving a pair of them ;) As well as the PzKpfw 38(T).
The Greyhound - maybe? Yes, probably.
The BA-10M and the BT-7 for the Soviets.
