This question came up today and I do not see the answer in the Official FAQ:
The rulebook states that you can use an extra supply token to blitz a tank an extra hex when it normally would end its movement. It specifically mentions that you can do this while in an enemy ZOC.
The rulebook does not, however, specifically mention blitzing in respect to another situation that stops tanks: entering an empty enemy controlled town outside of the enemy's ZOC. Can you use an extra supply token to blitz German tanks past a town west of the frontline? Or do they have to stop for the remainder of the movement/reinforcement phase because the roads in town are "clogged"?
In order to play it safe, we decided that tanks could not blitz past enemy towns, but I'd like to get an official opinion.
