Hello all!

I'm trying to find some information on a real AH oddity I recently got a hold of.

It's a copy of The Russian Campaign, complete and unpunched, except that everything - rules, counter sheet, box, etc. is in Chinese.

The box bottom says the game was published by Wargames Research Centre Limited of Hong Kong, but there is no copyright date nor is there any mention of AH (unless it's in Chinese, which I can't read!).

Does anyone have any information on this game? Is it rare? Valuable? A bootleg copy? I've heard of one other with a game by this company, which has different box art and appears to be an unlicensed version.

Any help you have would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Patrick

Certainly sounds like a bootleg thing, although that would have been a lot more trouble and expense than the usual copyright pirate is willing to go through. It's also possible that it was licensed directly through Jedko Games, the Australian company that originally published Russian Campaign (and African Campaign). Australia and Hong Kong have had close business ties for many decades.
