Hello To All In The Group,

I have a question on the "Command Control" rule, as this is my 1st time with this game system.

Can units affected by "Command Control" move normally? Say for instance in the 1st turn.

TIA

The rule only restricts the ability of the units to attack. Movement is unaffected.

Hello John,

Thanks for the reply and answer. Nowhere in the rules folder could I find a specific mention about movement of units affected by "Command Control" one way or another.

There is one mention of movement in S&T40 errata 16.1 stating; (Clarification) Allied units in Alexandria which cannot move due to Command Control may nethertheless be withdrawn as called for by the Turn Record/Reinforcement Track.

Anyway, this is an interesting simulation to play.

And, having been reminded of that, I promptly have to correct my answer. From the General, Vol. 22, #1
12.0 May Allied units which are out of command control move?
A. No.
Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I played this game. I recalled that the issue had come up, looked through the rules and saw that only attack was mentioned, and "shot from the hip". It now comes back to me...
Sorry, John
P.S. - This was originally published by SPI and the S&T ruling applied specifically to that version (although it's true for the AH version as well). There are some differences between the two editions as I recall.
