Hi folks,

Does anyone have any suggestions for storing the miniatures and being able to see them and easily pick out ones for new battles?

Thank you,
Russell:confused:

I use tackle boxes to hold my units. You just have to work out a system so you know what goes where.

I'd tell you this is not the place for that kind of question... but I don't know what this place IS for. And so far your question was the most intelligent thing discussed here.

I know what you mean. I just count on thoughtful people to answer and by golly, every time I ask a question no matter how silly, I get an answer that usually does the trick.

I appreciate the comment.

With A&ANM you'll want the tackle boxes with removable dividers, since some (most?) the ships are longer than A&AM units.

Thanks again. I jotted that note down in my "to buy" list. As if I can afford anything after buying all these confound little figures!

Hotwheels plastic carrying-case - 5 bucks from just about every Wal-Mart to Target-like store out there!

Plano makes a couple of tackle boxes that are multi layered and and have removeable deviders. I have six of them for my collection. I'm not sure if I'm going to use these for AANM or if I'm going to look for something larger.

Thanks guys. Sure gets me thinking.
I hate to call myself **** but just putting these neat little figures in a cigar box just doesn't do 'em justice, you know?

I use one of those 6 drawer plastic cabinets " multiple sizes so pick one " each for a diff nationality but some of the minor nations piggy back in other boxes. In these I put some of the plastic cases you can get to put nick nacks or screws and such. Come to a home depot or wally mart armed with a small measuring device of choice to make sure they fit in the drawers nice. Some like things; armored cars, anti tank guns or light armor vehicles can go into a bag. Make sure the little plastic cases have movable dividers and lots of them for separating infantry, MG's, Mortars, leaders... Leave one drawer for cards, dice rules, counters. You know. Works real good but...... " I need Breathing Room ".. Ehhh again.

I will definitely hunt this one down.Accessability will be important.Knowing where everything is located is important with little critters like these.

I use Plano tackle boxes for my stuff; 3701 for soldiers, 3700 for vehicles and 3780 for planes. I'm looking for a better container for planes but haven't found one so far. The nice thing about these boxes are that they all have the same length and width. Now I need to find a way to store all the boxes.

Thank you much. I jotted those down.

This has been a lot of fun and the responses have been excellent.
