just wondering which of the Brit cruisers / destroyers in the release set might be the best for AA protection...one fleet build I am considering is to use the Ark Royal with 2 swordfish units aboard...so looking for a ship to escort it and give AA protection...

opinions?...

The actual best would be to substitute an Atlanta class CL in for a Britich Dido class Cl. Both had overall similar performance and were dedicated AA cruisers.

It would seem the USS Atlanta will turn out to be the best Allied antiair escort ship but we still have a lot of ships to get previews for. The HMAS Canberra and HMAS Sydney are also known and have some good qualities, although the Sydney would be the best of the two, but not quite as good as the USS Atlanta with its antiair ability.

since I have decided to go with the Brits / Commonwealth...I guess it will be the Sidney for me...
