What will be in the starter?

Without looking through every single post, does anyone know what ships will be in the starter pack? Are they fixed? As I recall, I think it said somewhere that it will be 1 rare, 1 unc, and 3 commons to a booster pack. How many pieces in a starter?

Please advise if you know.

I think rarities are 1 rare, 2 uncommons & 6 commons. Can't remember where I learned that, though.

Somewhere, I believe somebody mentioned the starter will contain at least 3 Axis and at least 3 Allied units.

Just to check - do the maps from a single starter allow you to play 2 simultaneous games (or one large), or do '2 maps' mean 2 maps that you must put together to play one game?

It's the 2nd choice you mentionned :) It's 2 maps coming together to form 1 playing field (though again, the map is reversible: One side has only water hexes, the other has a few land hexes)

Ok, thanks Fecktor! Too bad it's that way, though - I don't think it's good for company either if everybody who wants to fight larger battles buy all the starters.

Official 'starter contents' -text is a bit misleading... If I hadn't had experience with this AAM, I would automatically have assumed that 1 map = 1 playing board.
