Expert Rules (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/aam/ah20070216c) are now online.

Just my suggestion here, but since the whole purpose of this forum is to solicit feedback, it's helpful if that feedback is coherent and constructive. I would suggest starting a thread for each sub-topic (Platoon Pricing, Grazing Fire, etc) of the expert rules, as each individual subject could provoke a lot of discussion by itself. This would give each thread a strong topic and avoid threads where people tried to talk about everything, then people focus on one or two things anyhow and the original points get lost.

I'll just say thank you to WotC for being so open and responsive to player concerns. That is just awesome.

I'm sure you will get a lot of varioius feedback and it won't be easy to please everyone. So my hats off to you for taking on this endeavor.

Hopefully, everyone can have a civil discussion and be accepting if every single rule isn't to their personal liking. There is no way everyone will agree on everything. But this is great step.

Just to echo shadowhooch, this forum is a great idea and a good PR move.

I'm sure this forum will become a madhouse soon...but hopefully there will be some good kernels of ideas once you folks at WotC shift through all the chaff.

Thanks, Bob! The discussion must bring life to this forum, and makes (even) better our favourite game. I hope the future opinions will be really considered, and released in a New Rule Set (combined with many-many new maps and scenarios. :)

I was beginning to get frustrated, and now I am excited again. Good move.

Say, um, can we get these in a nicely formatted and easy to print pdf or something?

Bob I think this needs to be stuck/tacked to the top of this forum so everyone can see it.
