Pete,
I just sent you and Aaron an email. I last minute was sent to Dallas for work and will be here all week.
Give me a call if you get a chance.
Maybe we can all get a game together one night this week.

I played with Aaron this week and am trying to get a game together for Wed or Thursday night. Aaron mentioned weeknights are hard for him but maybe we can get a game going one way or another.

TrimChris,
Where are you in Dallas?
I'm up in Richardson right now. I talked with Aaron and was planning on stopping by his place tommorrow night after my training class to get a look at his collection of goodies.
I could probably plan on something for Wednesday or Thursday since I don't really have anything else to do. The class doesn't start until 9:00 a.m. and is done by 4:30 or 5:00. Which is nice. :)
Shot me an email at MaxVertigo@yahoo.com and I'll give you my cell phone number. Or even better, I can call you since I work for the wireless company and have cheap calls. ;)

DP,
I wanted to thank you for stopping by my place last night. I really apprecaited you showing me all of your current projects. Hope you enjoyed going through my game, minitures, and pewter aircraft collection. Perhaps the next time you find yourself in Dallas on a Saturday or Sunday, we can pull out my 13 foot map/board for a game of Domination. If you and Chris Trimmer play a game in this week, let me know who won. Talk to you soon.

Aaron,
Thanks for letting me come by to check out all the cool stuff. You have quite the collection of A&A goodies!
I did get a game in with Chris and 3 others for a 5 player game. I haven't done that in many years. It was a blast!
I got crushed by Todd who rolled like 17 hits out of 20 some dice!!!
It was not the way the fall of Stalingrad should have gone.... lol...
Ah well... No mercy for the out of towner...
It was cool meeting some new players. I haven't really ever played outside of the small group I've played with for years and thought it was funny that no matter where you are or who you're with some things are always the same. There must be some genetic programming in gamers brains that make us all think and act the same way. ;)
I'll be sure to look everyone up the next time I make it down this way.
Besides I owe Todd a re-match for the dice thrashing he dished out... lol :)

Yeah Todd pulls out some amazing rolls sometimes. Saturday he shot down both the German and Japanese bombers on their first respective bombing raids against Russia. Too bad he often finds good stategies even when the dice don't go his way.
Depite Moscow falling temporarily, it was sill a fairly close game when we called it after 6 and 1/2 hours. The Axis still had a bit of an edge but it was no foregone conclusion. We're starting a trend here of needing 10 to 12 hours just to finally get a sense of a true winner. At least when we have five players.
