Hi all,

I was an avid A&A player in high school but haven't played in probably 15 years.

I'm looking for a group in the Phoenix metro area that could use an extra A&A player. Thanks!

We have all ready met but I thought I would update this post.

We have a group in the metro area and always welcome new players.

Hi,

Just found these boards. I also live in the East Valley (Ahwahtukee/Chandler) and am looking for a group to play the game. I have the older box set, but was reading the changes to the new set and will be going out and buying it next pay-check. Really looking forward to playing it.

Haven't played the box set in probably 5 or 6 years and then only PBEM.

I'd have to say that the 2nd edition of TSR's "E.T.O.", & "P.T.O." are slightly better than "W.i.F." or "3R" as it includes HQs, Leaders, etc. and you only need the 1st and ONLY prints of those. Yes, there is yet another "E.T.O." available again, and even called 'Advance' too. So, does anyone have a couple hundred $$$ for this? I don't :(

Let me translate for him (lol)..........

1) ETO= "European Theatre of operations"
2) PTO= "Pacific Theatre of operations "
3)WIF= "World in Flames"
4) 3R= "A&A" (3rd edition...NEWEST/revised latest-boardgame ed.- NOT INCLUDING A&A PC games!)

-Hope that helps!-

The majority of those are correct, but "3R" is short for "Rise & Decline of the 3rd Reich" by A-H and I meant about the last version of this produced by A-H, which was called "Advanced 3R".;) I don't know about anyone else, but the "A.3R" gamemap was a disappointment to myself, as it was almost totally bereft of any TERRAIN and it looked like an "After the 'Nukular' holocaust across the vast expanse of Europe & Russia" with it's bland & plain look about it! P.S.-'why' is it that Phoenix, AZ is 'looking' for you holywolfman? hmmm? They've even taken over this 'thread' in their 'search' for YOU!:D

Looking for anyone who plays in Phoenix. I play some times but am getting tired of playing the same people. I own all the versions except D-Day.
So please mail me if you get together and are in need of another player.
