Hi!
I don't have that miniature yet in my collection, but on page 27 of the Advanced Rulebook, there's a stat card for the I-19 submarine used as an example. It states "Submarine - 1941 - Speed 1 - Flagship 2 (?) - 3 plane capacity (??)"
Reading that, is there something about my WWII history I don't know about? :p
(Of course it's not the only error/misprint I noticed, but I don't want to flame AAM :) )

What, don't you know about Japanese submerged carriers of ww2? ;)
Pretty obvious misprint (in card, I believe, not only rulebook) :)

Let me guess without searching - the sub carried a scout -plane? I remember seeing such in Tamiya catalogue.
Did't have 3 squadrons of planes, though ;)

The card shows the correct stats - no flagship bonus and no basing capacity...

there was a japenese secret weapon of a huge sub that would sail to the west coast of the US, surface, and launch a bomber to attack major US cities.

The Japanese do like there submersible carriers:

or... they liked carriers that could be submerged (Midway)... they just were not good at re-surfacing.

That's what you think. If you are out there and look very closely you can see them lying in ambush waiting for the right moment to re-appear.
