How's your set collation?

I'm about to open my case that I ordered. I'm just curious, I've purchased waaay too many WotC and Avalon Hill products over the last 12 years, and the set distribution was ranged from outstanding (A&AM Base Set) to downright awful (any CCG set during Rolling Thunder). How is your War at Sea collation? Good? Bad? (The One With the Gun?)

4 starters 26 boosters.

good spread but a bias towards american. Short 3 rares. 2 Japanese. 1 German. All my doubles of rares are american.

Two cases. 24 possible rare slots. 24 possible rares. Got the whole set.

I actually got NONE of certain uncommons out of two cases:

No Bettys
No Nordmarks
No Kinai Marus

And I'm missing most of the Japanese surface fleet, but am trying to buy and trade my way out of that.

Ist three cases and two starters were definately Axis heavy. The next two cases and two starters leaned towards the Allies. One or two ships shy of two complete sets.

I bought one case of boosters and two starters - no duplicates of rares in the entire bunch! This is the best distribution of any WotC products I have purchased.

I only got 3 axis rares
and I didn't get the Koln.

doubles of every american rare
and triples of some.

luckily my FLGS lets me trade in my doubles.

Two starters and two cases. Both starters had the same rare as did both cases (Baltimore, wouldn't complain if it was Iowa ;) ).

Still lacking 8 rares. Got tired of waiting on 3rd case and ordered individually online. Note that both cases were from two different sources because the last time I ordered consecutive cases for A&AM I got 12 doubles...

I went into this game wanting only US/JP...i got two starters and three cases and I have a beautiful axis collection and love the german models and that has made me change my mind...on the other nations...I have a complete set of models for the axis and missing the exeter and washington on the allied side...

I can't get enough of the akagi it looks awesome...and the german models the same, the kongo even looks nice...i play them just to see them...

I would love to know what set two holds...the 64 per set is nice too...just enough to build some fun fleets, and keep you busy until set two...three...the cold war...

TONS of Japanese. I could make a 500 point fleet with Japanese units.

I _might_ be able to make a 300 point fleet with US.

Just bizarre, bordering criminal, luck with the commons. I am missing too many commons considering that I have a total 57 commons.

Ah, that makes some sense, still I didn't get more than 4 of anything from my two cases. Getting 5 or 6 of anything from two 1/2 cases is astounding.

Whoever you split those cases with is probably crying for some of those commons. At least the zeke.
