Could you be more specific? Are you talking about something like allowing buying 'on margin', or something like that?

I'd love to see variations developed for this game. While it's definitely great as is, it also has a lot of wide open potential.

I think some sort of mechanism that eliminated the down-time for the players waiting their turn would be desirable. I love the game, but the women in our group tend to chat it up while waiting their turn - and being allowed to take action during each of the other player's turns would keep them more engaged and hopefully enhance an already great game.
