1) A clarification of the revised air mission sequence;
Once an air mission is assigned to the land airbase, however, all of that player's remaining air missions are automatically sent to the land airbase. The land airbase stacking limit of five Aircraft still applies.
Situation; A 100 pt game with Shoho & 6 aircraft.
I presume that means it's illegal to assign the first aircraft to the land base, since that would automatically result in overstacking all 6 aircraft there.?

2) Aborted aircraft & Special Abilities.
As I understand the rules an aborted aircraft, remains in the sector & is not returned to an airfield until the "Air Return Phase".
While it's clear that an aborted aircarft cannot attack. The following questions are less clear;
a) Can it use Pinpointer. (not an attack)
b) Can it use Shadowing. (not an attack)
c) Can it use Missile attack (P.14 says, Aircraft that were aborted in the Air Defense phase can’t attack in this phase unless they have a special ability to do so. )
But it's not clear if that applies to Kondor's Missile SA ?

3) Aborted aircraft are (various pages in the rules) "Immune to attack" But does that mean they can't be attacked or that an attack has no effect. If the later, do enemy fighters all have to attack a Devastaor (Draw the CAP) even after it's aborted. ?

1) No. See page 32, The Land Airbase, second paragraph. You could send six aircraft to the Land Airbase, but it would be very foolish.

2) Under Effects of Damage (page 30), it does not state that an aborted aircraft can't attack. It states that it "ends its current mission with no further action." That includes attacking, obviously, but it also includes putting a special ability into play.

3) See 2.
