Release Date.

Well here’s another post just to confuse matters more (or at least me more). One game store in my town tells me D-Day will be in the stores the first week in June... dang!

But the other game store tells me that May 7th is the firm date he has from his distributor. Let’s hope it is the May 7th!

Well, I remember reading a reply from one of the guys at AH sometime ago about the release of articles coinciding with the release of the game. Releasing two articles per week he said, "I'll let you guys do the math." Assuming Article 8 will come out the 26th or 27th, 9 will come out the 30th. 10 would come out the 3rd or 4th of May. The revised A&A game came out on a Friday (I think). My guess is May 6 or 7. I hope I'm right because I already have a gamenight set up on Friday, May 7th to try this bad boy out :D

That said, I guess they'll get here when they get here.

An e-mail I received from a game shop in my area said that he would have the game the day of its release - May 7th.

Sounds like we've got one more week to go....

That sounds about right- my game store here claimed: "they should have the game between the frist/ second weeks of MAY" (7th-14th)...Hopefully that stands TRUE !

We shall see!

Greg - how did you get your hands on a copy of the game....is there any way some of us can benefit from your 'connections?' Please advise.
If you have not read some of the other threads, I run all the AA tournaments at GCI for Wizards...I receive the games in order to start preparing for the upcoming tournament season, hence the reason I received my copy this past weekend. It is not a store bought copy, it came directly from them...hope this doesn't create to much havoc...

Would somebody PLEASE give us an approxiamte release date?I believe they (AH) are shooting for June 6th9D-Day Anniversary) but then I also heard that it may be as early as May sometime? That is the best scoop I can give you. I do know it will be out in time for Origins. June 24th...

I'm kinda mad because my local Wizards of the Coast just shut down this week. They were really the only place around my town that carries avalon hill games. I guess I might have to do a little traveling to get d-day...
